Default Issues With Putting Si Power in a CRX HF Chassis?

I can find a TON of info on swapping from DPFI to MPFI, but nothing on putting the Si goodies in the nice, light HF chassis.

Heres what I have...
- Complete d15b2 (head/cam is the same as the Si)
- Si MPFI intake
- Si ECU (PM6)
- Si Distributor
- Si engine harness

And I have a line on a super cheap, rust free HF chassis.

So the question is, can I bolt all this stuff together, plug in the wiring to the HF chassis, install the PM6 ECU, and go have fun?

TIA

C'mon guys...
Nuthin'?

I've been told 2 completely different things. One is that you can just plug it in and go, the other is that it won't work unless you swap a bunch of pins around.

So I'm collecting knowledge and opinions. Any thoughts are appreciated,

Thanks

As far as I know, you should be able to bolt that stuff into an HF without trouble. As for power steering, the SI doesn't have it.

well, I have an hf and Im doin a b16 swap, now everyone has told me that the hf and the si wiring into a b16 will fit the same so I dont see why your swap wouldnt work. You will, however, have to get new hubs, knuckles, and axels from your si bc the hf hubs are smaller. Other than that have some fun.

Self2884, I could use your help because I have a 1986 Honda CRX Hf and I would like to swap the engine out, preferrably for a newer D15 or D16 to keep my costs lower. I heard that some extra stuff is involved in switching from carb to fuel injection. I've read that you have already done it. Is it possible for you to tell me what I need to do for that? I was thinking about going with a '92-'95 Civic D15 or D16 block because the engines from those are swapped all the time and people sell those for cheap. You would probably be better off emailing me at Meganium_Man@yahoo.com
