auto to manual conv. need help plz ????
ok well i just ran across a ef civic hatch for 50 bucks body is very mint but motor is siezed up and its auto, iam gonna do a manual conversation w/ ls swap.. my friend has 88 crx si worth nothin just good to pull **** of off when we need it, im gonna use the clutch lines and pedel im hoping i wont have to go blowing a **** loud of money... what iam curious about is will the crx seat up work and how hard is it to convert over from auto to manual and if ne one knows can they tell me how to do it... really appreciate ne info on this one...
you need the trans, computer, center console, pedals. I think thats it? Its not too hard to do just takes some time and patience
i was hopin it wont be to hard, just wondering the steps im sure i can figure it out when i pull everything off the crx i just dont want to be stuck in the mud dickin around w/ ****... thanks for the info man

Like the other guys said it isnt really that hard. I just got done doing it to my crx like a week ago. This site should help you out some.
http://hometown.aol.com/jrmupzaii/auto2man.html In my crx the foot heater ducts were in the way of one bolt so I had to remove that to get it. I didnt drop my steering collum either, make sure you have a ton of extensions and a swivle exstension. For me though I have to wire up my reverse lights and drill holes for my shifter but that is about it. Once i get it finished and you need help just send me a PM ill help if i can.
