brake problems
hello guys, am having a hard time with my crx..
about a week ago i had to jam on the brakes because i had missed a turn. The brakes worked at first but then the pedal floored. well i did a search and i replaced the master cylinder i bled the lines and still i get nothing no pressure from the pedal. the car does stop but only when the pedal is all the way down...
can anyone help me?

you probably have a leak or something, otherwise the pedal wouldn't sink to the floor. Check to see if all your brake lines/hose, calipers and/or wheel cylinders are leaking.
To me, brake is the most important thing in any given car. You could have a powerful and fast engine, but if your brakes fail, you get hurt or die then the engine doesn't matter to you anymore.
Just my $0.02.

thank you for the reply, i checked the wheel cylinders one needed replacement i did so. i replaced the master cylinder also and calipers dont show any sings of a leak, and still the pedal goes down..
I suggest you spend some time under the car. Folow your brake line from the master all the way to the w/cyl. both sides
do the same to the front if no leaks try to gravety bleed (fill master complete, open all bleeder s let them run for few minutes) keep a close watch on master level, clse it up and try the pedal
Also i dont know if you put a new or re-build master ( most re-build are junk!)
Have some one pum pedal an open the lines to the master slow , any fluid coming out ? did you bleed the master enough & properly?
Good luck Joe Sr.

ok will get under and check all the lines, the master am gonna assume is rebuilt because i had to turn in the other. as far as bleeding the master i dont know if i did that. How do i do so?
