thanks I have had my civics checked but I forgot to check my Prelude. I am the second owner and the car came all the way from New York. That was something I didn't know. I am glad that I saved it from the rust.

The multiple report trick was already posted, oops!

It has had no minor or moderate accidents reported to CARFAX.


It has had no DMV-reported total loss events, like a major accident, fire or flood

sorry guys, carfax has a lot of holes. if an owner were to wreck the car and not report it to their insurance or just plain don't have insurance, than who knows if it has been fixed by a shady body shop. i work at a dealership and people ask for a carfax on used cars all the time.(I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE COME BACK BAD!) everyone is out to make money including carfax. they can guarantee their findings but that is just if it has not been reported to the dmv.

i did my rex and my bros rex and were both the 4th owners. mine has a clear title and no accidents. but his was in an accident.

 

awesome mine was clear... except for the previous owner decided to write 41000 miles when he registered it...idiot... he must have thought you put the motors mileage and after he put in the b16...and since everyone knows all jdm motors come with 40000 miles thats what he put........nice

as long as the car checks out clean, it means that the car is worth money regardless of what is said

i know that, but if he just wrote the actual miliage not what he thought the jdm motor had on it then that wouldn't be there.
