installed my smsp header on sh today!!
i finally got it yesterday and went to the exhaust shop this morning, after some modifications and installation, it definetly pulls a lot harder top end, and it is very very very loud!!! possiblity of dynos this weekend no tuning yet , but baseline, with smsp, carsound, aem cai, apexi n1 , so we'll see what it puts down, it is def running rich, because i did the diy fpr mod, but the header def makes a great difference

ya hopefully i will get a dyno soon maybe this weekend at an event closeby, i think the fuel psi is about 55 constant because its reading atmospheric pressure, i need a fpr and guage and vafc, but first a clutch, with this header my clutch is slipping badly lololol, when vtec kicks you can tell its slipping
should get another soon
should get another soon
oh seen about the carsound cat did you get 2"5 inch all the way back from the cat to your muffler and how much did the shop charge you and how long did the whole instillation take. Sorry about all the questions
Its good to see others with the header. Hopefully you can porvide a good comparison dyno, seeing as my prelude didn't/still doesn't want to cooperate with me.

this should definetly be high on your list of mods, mine didn't last very long.
Good luck

i got the cat at the same time as the header installed, its a 2.5-2.5 i have a 2.38 inch n1 catback which imo is close enough to 2.5 inches, might lose 1-2 hp but i love the sound and look, the install took awhile, since its a 4 piece header and getting everything lined up on an sh with little room to work with, the only modification i had to do was relocate the o2 bung back further on the down pipe it was hitting the atts unit , and wouldnt let the down pipe and secondaries join, no biggie, i am however very curious to get it tuned and next is a new clutch because i know i am losing power there too

Did you let Dave know about this? Since he really wanted to know if it would clear or not and relocating the bung during the production process is easy.

I just recieved mine today and it looks beautiful but I'm not going to be able to install it until I get back from my graduation trip in Hawaii. This was a good graduation present today receiving it. I will dyno it about a week after that with my tmw individual throttle bodies that are on the way to
