i see s80 on a tranny ...wat does s80 stand for?

no it doesnt, the s80 is two different tranmissions. jdm itr, and usdm ls. i have an s80, its a 95 integra rs hydro tranny. and just look up specs on the jdm itr. but sorry, i have no idea what it stands for.

um.. im pretty sure the ls are y80. i think.. lol u got me thinking now.
my jdm gsr is lsd,and i think it came as an option in japan.(not sure) and im 2mil % sure that my tranny is not an ls tranny.

im gettin a car thats been modified and i wanted to kno wat s80 meant cuz thats wats on the tranny ...

 

well as i've said before, s80 is a lsd tranny. however dcb16 also stated that it can be an ls tranny, which i dont believe is true. can anyone else help us clarify?

 

s80 is on both trannys.. drive the car and notice the shorter gearings...
