Default Paint/Fiberglass question

for all you paint and Fiber people.... i was wondering if the panels inside a honda.. the plastic ones like on the door panels and stuff can just be wrapped in fiberglass.... i mean when the resin starts to do its thing its not gonna melt the plastic is it... if so can i just sand down the panels-prime them-then paint them? what would you do...?

First of all..why do you want to cover them with fiberglass?? Its not a smooth surface by any means. Only the side that faces a mold is smooth the under side is very ruff. Are you just trying to make your panles out of fiberglass? Or are you trying to make a repair? Explaine...............???
