Default HASport EFB2 Kit questions?

okay...here's my big f**kin' problem: i'm puttin' a 94' LS into a 89' CRX HF. i ordered the HASport mounts for that swap. when i went to do my swap, the drivers side mount didn't line up straight! now we did my swap from the botton...so we put the tranny mount on 1st. when we went to put the driver side mount on, it wouldn't line up...it was off by about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. i called up HASport...and they were big help, just said that the tranny had to be the last mount to be put on. so we started over a couple days later, only this time we droped it from the top. and once again, same thing. so i called up HASport...again, i talked to someone who was a help. he said that i need to order the driver side mount that bolts to the motor underneath the timing belt for another $75. so i ordered this mount and it should be here in a couple of days...and we'll try for a third time . has this happened to anybody else who has done this swap? if so, how did it work out in the end? did the motor finally line up right? also pics would help as visual reference...since the HASport direction pics are buttcheeks! any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The mount that you ordered should take care of it. We installed a B20 in a friends car and that mount gave us problems, got the correct one (just like you did) and it solved the problem.

are you leaving the other mount bolts loose? you have to tighten everything after the bolts are all in.

Depend on the engine you'll need a different drivers side bracket on the engine. I think its Acura partnumber 11910-pr3-010. I have one that I bought and didn't end up using...

You probably talked to Joe the second time, you are attempting to put a "hydro" b-series motor into your EF, so the engine mount on crank side of the motor is different. Thats why you have to order the other mount. Once you have that, it will line up perfectly. If anyone wants, I can take some pics of the 2 mounts so you can see what I'm talking about.

Just so everyone understands, you have to use gen 1 b16a (or 90-91 teg)brackets with the hasport kit. Both rear bracket, and driverside bracket.
