my friend has a 00 gsr integra , he just a progress anti sway bar (rear lower ) he said that if his stock sway bar fits my 96 ek hatch i could have it . this may be a stupid question but im just wondering if it would work?thanks for the help

You'll need to swap lca's with a model that came with a rear sway. Also the EK subframe is very prone to tearing, so use the beaks kit or something similar. On top of that, I don't feel like going into full detail but a simple search will find all the answers to your questions.

It should fit. You should already have the hole in your lca's, so they shouldn't need replaced. If you don't have a hole you could drill one. You will need Si endlinks from the 99-00 model tho, they're kinda pricey.

im not sure about your 96 hatch, but my 00 sedan had all the holes needed and it bolted right up with no problem. put that in for now and get a type R bar if you're serious.

The GSR swaybar has quite a bit of flex, and shouldn't harm your existing LCA"s. If you do notice trouble with the LCA's holding up to the stress then swap them out, I don't see this being an issue though. If you have the money, just replace them to be safe. If you don't have the money though, you CAN work with what you have.

Also the beaks kit is hardly nessisary, if at all nessisary, with a gsr or si swaybar.

Even though the SI and GSR sways are smaller than the ITR(which is the most commonly associate sway w/ tearing of the subframe), I still think it would be good to have the kit just a preventive maintainence. Chances are the subframe could stand the stresses of the smaller sways but it still has the chance of tearing. IMO I'd use some form of subframe reinforcement. Just my .02 cents though.

Ya, can't be too safe I've always been on tight budget, so I avoid things that aren't totally nessisary. But ya, if you have the extra cash, go for it.
