Default Took my hatch for it's first drag strip passes in 2 years tonight...

I though she did really well!

Started off the night at the track with a bang... literally. Wheelhopped bad enough to blow off a boost pipe. Oops. 15.659@89.26, NA. Not too shabby for a 9:1 compression b16a.

6:00 : 15.659@89.26 1/4 - 2.483 60' - 10.014@68.9 1/8
6:10 : 13.567@112.68 1/4 - 2.403 60' - 9.205@87.53 1/8
6:20 : 13.612@110.57 1/4 - 2.377 60' - 9.177@86.16 1/8
6:23 : 13.393@112.76 1/4 - 2.369 60' - 9.023@88.18 1/8
6:27 : 13.735@111.37 1/4 - 2.387 60' - 9.295@86.12 1/8
7:03 : 13.445@112.54 1/4 - 2.364 60' - 9.062@88.11 1/8
7:08 : 13.707@111.27 1/4 - 2.451 60' - 9.284@87.22 1/8
7:44 : 13.475@112.40 1/4 - 2.373 60' - 9.099@88.21 1/8
7:49 : 13.713@111.79 1/4 - 2.510 60' - 9.308@87.39 1/8
8:32 : 13.481@112.08 1/4 - 2.367 60' - 9.103@88.39 1/8

Yeah, I know my 60' times are consistantly BAD, but for a turbo car, without a hi-boost switch, I was fairly impressed by the consistancy. 112 MPH is SCREAMING, IMHO, I'm very pleased with the results, considering.

[edit]
I ran the car as I drove it to the track, without even changing air pressures in my 195/50/15 Potenza S-03's. I know I have at least one blown shock on the front, and that wasn't helping out my wheelhop, either. I'm going to order some Illumina's for the front, ditch these Tokico HP's, and some stiffer front and rear springs from Ground Control. Oh yeah. I WILL make this car run mid 12's on street tires.
