Is it going to be all one solid piece? Or are you going to make 2 pieces (framework and the outer panel) and connect them as it seems the metal one is?

that's impossible (think about it)

It has to be 2 pieces fused together

snags? Well I don't think our first shot at the underframe is going to work out...it looks too complicated...I have a feeling it will be hard to demold from the part...we'll see in a couple days

looks awesome

i think it's cool you can custom fabricate all of these pieces.

so does the carbon fiber start as a liquid base
that you just spray layers of, or do you pour a base into the molding?

inquiring minds want to know

It's a Woven fabric of carbon as you can see from the 'weave'. Then you add a two part epoxy to it which hardens over time. The skill lies in positioning the wet fabric so the weave still looks good and getting a great finish on the part.

ok how about just group buy discounts before you answer that question, go back and smell the CF sunroof again.

so how many per order is it gonna be, like ten?
