compression ratio for a turbo ls
i was just wondering whats a good compression ratio to be runnin wiht my turbo?????i have heard 9 to 1 is good but i have also heard i would be better off runnin 8 to 1. If anyone knows what is better please post a reply thanks for your help guys.

9:1 is safe for turbo.
the reason is...
when the turbo isn't spooled up the ls wont move. the car wont move for anything off the line with 8:1 which is why 9:1 is more common. that is why ppl say the ls is a good model to turbo compared to a gs-r with 10.3:1.
