Default This sux.....

Driving to work tonight on the highway minding my own business(cliche i know ) Anyways im goin about 70 and i come up on some road construction so i slow to about 55.... It is dark as hell and there aren't many lights around (If you say "should've got some HID's" i will choke you...JK , so im drivin in the left lane when all the sudden i come up over a hill only to find a freakin wheel barrel, yeah you heard me correct, a WHEEL BARREL in the middle of the damn road!!! Well quick goat thinking i swerve only to let a piec of it scrape down the side of my R .... OUCH!! Anyways i call 911 they tell me to go wait for the cops so i do. I go back and im there w like 4 other peeps who got it a lot worse than i did.. The cops get there and basically say that we have to prove that the wheel barrel belonged to the construction company in order to make them pay. Guess I will have to call my insurance company tomorrow and see what they suggest(YAY INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE SO SYMPATHETIC TO YOUR NEEDS!!!) Now I kinda wish i would have hit the damn thing then maybe i would have got JDM front end out of this BS. Now my damn car has to b painted..... Shes not a virgin anymore.... Just venting

I feel it too...

I had my spoiler ripped off, A piercing through my rear quarter, bumper all scratch up, doors dented, and wheels ALL Scratched up... that sucked... oh well, I ended up with a really bad paint job, and new wheels. I got to keep the old ones, so I guess I got a set of racing wheels out of the mess? Damn thieves and POS little punk kids (haa haa, I say little, when I am only 22!!!!)

yeah i feel for ya... i hate when there's so much debris on the freeway, construction or not. i remember running over some big metal thing on the ground, didn't see it till the last second, next thing i know i lose control for a second and i hear a big clunk behind me. i took a closer look the next morning and i guess it took off a huge chunk of my rear right body kit as well as a piece of bumper it was attached to *grr* and yes, keying sucks too...and dings from idiot drivers who can't park right and scrape your rear quarters

How about $5K worth of HAIL damage to your brand new ITR car that's only 45 days old.

Cal - Who's been a victim of this event twice and both cars were brand new too.

Two weeks ago the car in front of me hit an entire wheel from an 18 wheeler on Rt.1 in Jersey. It flew into the air, bounced off the concrete divider, then flew right back into my lane. I was already on the brakes, and I hit it going about 5 mph. Flexed my front right fender and cracked the paint, chipped it off. If I hit the brakes any later it would've gone right through my windshied and you'd have seen my car on another one of those local news pages, like the one last week.
