how much time do you guys think i would shave off my 1/4 if switched from dry to direct port? both spraying 75shot on a civ hb/b18c1. and if it matters i run a 13.77@99

 

I sprayed my integra full a/c every thing with a brand new type r engine like a 70 shot did 13.01 on 13x22x8 103mph
was a full weight integra 1.8 60ft

i had my crx before 200hp allmotor did 12.5@107
direct port 305@wheels did a 12.01 @119mph
used jet 20fuel 24 nos
its a good combo
allmost forgot i only sprayed in 3 and 4th
the slicks were to small
after i traded the car for the integra

direct/wet spraying is always better because of more even distribution of Nitrous/Fuel and no worries of leaning out when you "hope" that the factory injectors can keep up with the nitrous.

wet makes more power.

 

yeah you feel a differnence with wet to. It hits alot harder.

 

how much more whp do you think it would give over dry?

Direct port is a lot safer to run. Don't know if your motor is built but a 75 shot dry is asking for trouble.

Really, asking for trouble huh. You do know that honda blocks can handle 300+whp STOCK right?


As for getting more power, hmm lets see - same shot = same power

With DP you can run a bigger shot because it hits the cyl evenly. Though you can spray dry almost as effective as long as your injectors can flow enough. You NEED to tune both setups.

What your injector duty cycle at when you spray? I would grab a walbro if you don't have one already and some colder plugs.

Assuming your fuel setup can handle it you could up the shot. I am assuming you will tune the fuel and timing with it. If you want to be the safest go DP, though I have heard of 120 shot dry, just monitor your engine for detonation in case the nitrous doesn't disperse properly. If you have problems with cyl distribution switch to DP.

When you start to spray huge shots it really helps to have a progressive controller. An X shot isn't that much for the entire rpm band due to the fact that your engine can ingest more air at higher rpm. With a progressive controller you could not only avoid spraying a huge shot down low when your engine can't use it all (and possibly back fire) but also keep power smooth throughout the rpm range you spray.

Too pricey for me just some info. For the price of all that I could put together a turbo kit.
