First pull the error code. Flashing "D" light is the tranny's version of a check-engine light. You check it the same way. I don't have a '94 but I guess the wires you want to jumper are located somewhere around the console or ashtray? (Searching would be a good thing...)

Jumper that plug & turn on the key. Your check-engine light may or may not flash out a code, but your 'D' light will flash out it's own code.

edit...
I only know a couple tranny codes from my '98, and I'm not sure whether they're the same for different years, like CEL codes. Your best place to look would be a Helm book for your car.

Do you have the list of error codes for tranny D light ?

The service check conector is under the dash on the passenger side. Just short the 2 wire conector, turn the ignition to on and watch the indicator on the dash (D4) it will give you a codejust like engine check light, beware some PGM-FI problems will also make the D4 light flash . There are 15 code and i have them, so tell me what code is and I'll help you.
Make sure all conectors are well atach, reset the tranny by disconnecting the battery ( is the easy way) and then check again for the codes.

thx for all the replies guys i didn't figure what the problem was but i check the check engine light and i was just a coolant Temp sensor as for the tranny code it only flashed once i check all data and it really didn't tell me anything. it just said to disconect the back up for for 10 sec.. when i put it back the code was gone from the tranny..

thx josue
