Turbo Charger or Super Charger on a 6th Gen Accord
Im planning to buy a 6th Gen Accord v6 coupe manual transmition, and planning to supe up performance. I read some articles about super chargers(Power over time 48hp at wheels) and turbo charges (power at higher rpm 48hp at wheel). Both have good ups and downs, currently I want to go with the super charger vs the turbo since it doesnt get that hot and it gets me off the starting point faster then a super charger, so figuring I can just add some nos if needed to get that boost at the end. So question really is, What would be a better choice for a 6th Gen v6 Accord coupe, Supercharger or TurboCharger.
Thanks
Thanks
Are u talking about a 97-2001 accord v6, because they don't come with manual transmission
I know hks had a good turbo kit for that engine and it made good power but the slushbox automatic could not handle the power
You could check vortec or jackson racing for a super charger but that auto tranny will be the weak link

If you need more mid to low end power and need a good street car. Then the super-charger will do it for ya. The turbo will give you high end power but you have a auto so i don't know if you can rev your motor high for a long time. So I would go with the blower a lot more fun for a street car and you will have a lot of TQ.
I saw some 98' v6 accords on ebay with manual transmition, maybe the seller screwed up..?
Oh well. Thanks guys for the input.
