Default cost of h22a engine and tranny with ecu

just curious because i am considering a h22as jdm swap into my 01 sh i havent put any aftermarket support into it yet but i was just wondering what i could ask for my engine ecu tranny etc, it has 56000 km's, aslo will the jdm h22as swap right in?.

why would you do all that work? u may get like 2 whp out of it. you will prob. lose hp since u dont know how much abuse the engine went though.

the only difference on jdm is .6 points of compression. 1.0 in a type-s w/ a different set of shitty cams.

if u really want somthing similar, swap out the pistons, and get a set of real cams

to answer your question, yes it would swap right in if you change the tranny. You may also have to change the length of your exhuast. In my opnion, this swap into an already good 5th gen is a complete waste of money. Just buy type s pistons, cams, and a stronger valvetrain if you want the upped compression that bad. Complete waste of bout 5 grand. Put that 5 grand into your current motor and a JDM LSD tranny and you would be one happy camper.
