94 GSR wont start, just get clicking??
Sometimes when I go to start my car I just get clicking. (All the accessories come on) I try again and it starts right up. Any ideas?? Is the starter going bad???
Thanks
Thanks
Clicking? ....or grinding?
Is the car turning over? You have to see if the starter is actually spinning. Is your car a manual transmission. Have someone look into the little hole in the tranny area to see if the flywheel is spinning when you try to start it.
You have to slowly diagnose it. Is the starter working? Is there spark?

sounds like your battery is starting to go out. My brothers nissan has enough power to run the accesories but not enough power to turn the engine over. Very strange. Also it "might" be your starter, but I would doubt it, just take your battery in and get it tested.
Sometimes it starts right up, and other times it just get click, click, click, click. Then I turn to the off position on the ignition and try again. Sometimes it starts and others just clicks.
When it clicks the engine is not turning over.
I get no grinding and it seems to be getting a spark...

sounds like a weak battery or a worn starter......go to a auto parts store and have them check your battery, if it's good, more than likely it's the starter
yeah i would put my money on the starter, get someone to beat on it with a hammer or something while someone is turning it over, if it starts to fire up or turn over then you know thats def what it is, i used to work at autozone, (i know that makes me an expert
) but i saw this allll the time, try what i said, i bet its the starter
