Default Prelude totaled

I hit someone last week and now my prelude is totaled, I just got the car a few months ago and it was the best car ever. A split second and all I have is gone. My insurence goes up I loose money, and have no mode of transportation. Now my parents are going to make me buy a pick-up truck because they think I'll drive faster in a sub compact I enjoyed the whole scene for the short time I was in it and will return someday Anyone else here total a really nice car? What should I do? The body shop sas there is over 7G in damage, can I fix this my self. I know its just a car but everything else just sucks.

The car will never drive right.

Buy a old Civic or Prelude with a blown engine and swap yours into it.

4th gen Accord (90-93). You can find a so-so one for like $2000. Drop your Prelude engine into it (assuming it's an H22) and you'll have a VERY nice start. It holds the weight better than a Civic, and is lighter than a Prelude.

Its the engine ok? If it is, why not be nice and become a donor? Just buy the car back and sell off all the remaining pieces....i could use a few things.

take the insurance, buy another car + track time.

As for buying back the car, whats damaged? 7g sounds like you were going pretty fast!

If you change everything thats broken and have the bodyshell jigged then it will. But most of the time that would cost more than the cars worth!

Anything left of the car? I could use some good parts

edit: This must have happened directly under the powerline the Vultures were sitting on.
