Alright this might be just me and only a pet peeve, but I hate how there's nothing that lights up around the ignition hole, where you stick the key in to start the car. They should've put some kinda light-up ring around it, so you can see it in the dark when you turn on your headlights.

I usually just find it okay, but every once in awhile I feel like I'm shooting in the dark and I'm afraid I might scrape the area around it. ANy suggestions? or links to threads that I couldn't find when i searched?

get a little light for your keyring? You could also buy some flexy neon lights, go to an automotive accessories shop they should have all kinds of little lights you can wire up. They do here in NZ anyway.

 

i have a key fob that fits around the head [the part you hold] of the key and it has aultrabrite LED [clear] in it that points like a flashlight in the direction you point the key when you sqease it very small . i got it for the very same reason. impuls buy at a newsstand 94

eh...I never have any problems finding it...I don't even look down anymore.
