i searched and found nothing. i have a 2000 civic si and i just mounted an oem wing on it. i was wondering how you wire up the brake light on it? it has those two plug things coming from it. is that what i need? i can' t figure it out

 

black wire is ground. red or white wire is power. splice it into the brake light..

 

I just pulled the plug from the 3rd brakelight, used 2 spade connectors in the socket. Works like a charm...It's kind of pointless to have the 3rd brakelight connected when you have the same thing in the spoiler.

 

ah take it off u just made 4 holes and ruined ur trunk .... like me

All you have to do is remove the factory 3rd brake light socket, and tap into those wires.

haha, yeah thats how it is done, I install mine about 3months ago, when drilling start with a smaller bit and work your way up, there should be predilled spots, they look like little round bubbles

 

I spliced into the left side brake light.

 

hey scrapinsi, how you doing man? thanks for the help on the rear lip. the body shop got it on fine. i'll post pics of my car after i put my wheels on and stuff. probably in like three weeks
