Question -- Need Help
I know nothing about car stereos. Some crackhead ripped off the antenna on my wife's 98 civic hatchback dx. I bought a replacement antenna.
I'm sure this is a stupid question . . . I think it's a stupid question. Drumroll please . . . where is the antenna wire input and how do I access it without removing the consoles?
Can someone please tell me how to replace the antenna, with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions detailing removal and install?
This idiot savant thanks you.

jerk...
some one help this guy with his problem......the only experience i have with antenna's is on a honda accord...the plug is about 6 inches away from the antenna itself.....since the antenna is on the left side of a civic...i think you would remove your pillar and look for a wire......sorry for not being much of help.....you might wanna try audio/security.

damn i swear you guys act like its a crime for someone to ask a question, whats the point of calling him a dumbass, does it make u feel better cuz u know the answer to his queston? and if u know the answer then just tell him!
anyways , unplug the antenna hookup in the back of the radio, unscrew the plate where the old antenna was(above the driver side door) and pull the antenna out from the top, not sure if there are clips or anything holding it in, then just feed the new antenna through the top and route it to the back of the radio. well hope its helps a little bit
