Default 1/4 mile GSR EK HATCH

I have a 97 civic hatch with a 99 gsr engine in it. I have skunk2 intake manifold, aem short ram intake, apexi headers,a custom fabricated exhaust, ITR cams, VAFC, nology wires, and rolling on 17" rims with a stock clutch what should mile 1/4 mile time be. And if you have the same car what was your quarter mile time? I got beat by 2000+ VW golf GTI 1.8 T all he had was exhaust and intake, and we both dropped it to 2nd gear at the same time WTF? Is it my CLUTCH?

"was" the 1.8T stock with bolt ons only, or did he "say" it was stock?

I don't think a chipped 1.8T should even touch you, a bigger turbo, on the other hand...

take your car to the track or dyno and see what up; you did get it tuned?

Your car should run in the high 13 second range if you know how to drive it. Does your clutch slip when you shift gears under power???

I know for fact the GTI only has intake and exhaust, because he is my friend.
But my clutch does'nt slip it just seem not to grab hard enough, I can't even chirp 2nd gear. I raced a 2004 v6 accord coupe 3 timeS. first time smoked the **** out of him by like a couple lengths, 2nd time barely beat him, he was at my front wheels, 3rd race he smoked me???????CLUTCH???? BUT IT DOES'NT SLIP THOUGH JUST DOES'NT GRAB HARD ENOUGH.Is it because of the 17" rims?
What should my 1/4 mle time be?
Please post your 1/4 mile times if you have a gsr EK civic hatch and what bolt ons you have thanks.

it seems a little strange that your races are so inconsistant tho. Could be driver error, on either side?

Are you sure you engine is running right? Have you tried a compression test?

You should lso be able to chirp second easily, even with my lsd tranny, i chirp second big time.

How long are these races anyway. The golf could possibly get a rolling jump on your out of your powerband. But you should suck him in no problem, he's driving a low 15 second car, high high 14's at best.
