Stock Dynos
Does anyone have a stock dyno of a 5th and 4th gen prelude? I saw a dyno on this stock prelude that said it had 150hp and 136 torque. This was a 5th gen and I thought they were 200 stock. Also what are the 0-60 times on 4th and 5th gens? Thanks

anyone know about the 0-60 times? I saw a site that said 6.6 but i find that hard to believe. And so basically a stock whp would be 160 without and mods. Ouch...

0-60 = 6.9 5spd
0-60 = 7.4 ss
but this is all average... but with a turbo kit i think it does 0-60 in like 6.8 5spd.
its about $3000 upgrade for every .1 difference
By the way do you own a prelude???

My 4th gen stock:
161whp, 142wtq
14.807 1/4 mile
but most people get about 15-15.2 stock 4th gen anyway. 5th gen is a little slower. And if you saw 150whp ona stock 5th gen I bet you it was a Type-SH

Yea stock h22s 4th gen and 5th gens mostly make it in the mid to high 160s considering the motors healthy i.e. the pistons were sealed good=motor was broken in right and what dyno it was done on.

I dont have a prelude yet, but thats the only car in my price range, I've been researching them for the past month or so and now I'm lookings to buy a 5sp, 50-60,000 miles, black 98-01 prelude. Are you sure turbo's only shave .1 of a second off the 0-60...that doesnt seem right. Thanks

and tire setup, Id assume traction would be an issue with that much power so your 60ft wouldn't be much improved.
