How to get rid of build up on weathering strips outside windows on ITR?
Does anyone have any suggestions on getting rid of the build up on the weathering strips that surrounds the windows? The dealer said it was due to mold, acid rain, etc. This is still on the car from the original owner from when i purchased my car back in Jan. The service advisor said a little bleach would take it out, but is still there. He also said it would cost alot more to replace and said I should leave it.
Help anyone?

screw what he say's!! i really dont know what would remove that.....have you checked on getting new strip's?
I have the same prob. also! I asked a detailing-specialist and he said an All-Purpose-Cleaner agent/product mixed w/ warm water! Remember half & half!
( Simple Green & water...but im not sure )
Just try scrubbing real hard! It just take time!
And yes buying the weathering strips cost a lot more expensive! Trust me, I've already ask! If you want just call'em up!
