Which exhaust....They look almost the same. The Tanabe is $100 dollars more....But it's Tanabe.

I have seen the Tanabe on my friends 00 lude and it looked nice...Angled up and looked clean. I haven't seen a skunk 2


What to get???

Does anyone have a Skunk 2??

 

tanabe's quality is superb. i don't know about s2. i haven't seen anything on their exhausts for preludes, but i know some ppl with ep3s have had horror stories with it.

 

I have had my tanabe racing medalion for 3 years and I still love it. and looks tight too.

 

Yah, I gonna get the Tanabe...I had one on both my 94 civic's.

They have the best tone and look. I have heard the same horror stories about Skunk 2.

my friend has a Tanabe on his '99 lude. if its a look thing that makes you choose then check out the SP or the Evo, i have an ev0 but i dont have a cat, so its more raspy. N1 by apex'i is nice as well to0, that one is angled up.

But from what you gave, i would go with the tanabe, just because i almost bought that same exhaust when i was shopping!

What year is your LUDE??? Mine is a '94 and it looks nice. Sound is always at a deep bass pitch, and if you're that picky, it does sound a little riceier at around 5-6000 rpm's in low gears. Hope this helps....I will try to post some pics if I can....no promises though. The Tanabe SMR, is QUITE large.

 

Hey Geeq, i don't have any pictures right now but the skunk2 will make your car sound excellent. it is a pretty deep sound and not that high pitched weed wacker noise, not ricey at all, just sounds nice and deep

 

i'd like pictures or vids as well... i'm hooking this chick up with an exhaust system for her 5th gen lude..
