quick question. 89 CRX Si. the harness that goes under the intake manifold. I am swapping in a B18C1 and there is one plug that I can not account for. It is white and rectangular double wire. it is right next to the oil pressure plug and ECT plug but before the Alternator? anyone? if not I'll have to take a pic of it and post it.
it has a black with yellow strip wire and a blue wire.

hmm. I'm not sure the plug and wire off the harness is no more than 6 inches long. Did the fast idle solenoid have a harness that would drop all the way down to it that far from the Manifold?

Sounds like the plug that went to the thermoswitch that was on the back of the A6 motor next to the oil pressure sensor. If so, it needs to have it's wires unwrapped and extended to the thermostat housing. That is where it resides on the B motors. There is enough wire, just unwrap and snake those two wires out and re-route them. Plug is same.

nope sorry, the plugs for the old ECT switch are 2 small male pins. I already extended them to reach the thermoswitch on my B-series. BTW the plugs are NOT THE SAME

where is the valve normally? underside of intake manifold? the wiring is pretty short so I would assume it has to be backside of stock manifold

lol, sorry dude, I took my best shot. Now that I see the plug and other posts, my vote is for the fast idle. My crx is a HF and it doesn't have that selinoid or the plug. FWIW, your purge is on the firewall as posted and your map is too. You can ditch both of them and use the B18 map on the throttlebody and the purge right above it on the manifold. (went out and looked at my GSR)

ha ha thanks. yeah thats what I'm leaning to also on that its the fast idle. Yeah thanks for the FYI on the evap and map. I knew to use the ones off the GSR TB.
