how do you check to see if the radiator fan switch is bad or not.! cuz my fan wont turn on but my car is not over heating or anything though! this happen after i replace the radiator. thanks

 

unplug the connector to the switch and short the two wires together . . . . if the fan comes on then the fan is OK. Although this doesn't mean that your switch is bad. Just let the car idle for a while and see if the fan comes on. Keep an eye on the temp gague and if it goes too high before the fan comes on then it's probably the switch.

 

It takes around 20 mins from starting time for the fan to turn on if the car is at idle.

it does? mine takes about 5 min depending on temp outside etc. . . .

 

i can drive all day but the fan still wont turn on.! but the car is not overheating..but the ac fan work though. any ideas as to whats wrong?

 

What year? Get a service manual and find out where your fan swith is and jump across the connector. if fan cuts on its that if not check relay.

 

just had this happen to my gfs car it was the coolant fan fuse under the driver side dash .
