Motor Bogs Out @ 3500-4000 RPM ????

Default Motor Bogs Out @ 3500-4000 RPM ????

i recently put on a shortram for a day and hooked up the stock intake afterwards...the motor just doesnt seem to wanna rev...i already tried to reset the ECU, i disconnected the neg. batt. cable and took out the underhood backup fuse but it didnt solve the problem.

anyone with some insight? thanks

Check all the vacuum lines...other than that you shouldn't have messed anything else up.

proper way to reset the ecu:
start car & let idle for 5 minutes (turn ac & everything else off)
shut car off & remove 7.5A backup fuse let sit for 5 minutes
replace fuse & let idle for 5 minutes while the ecu learns
turn off car, start back up and drive away

go try that and see if it still bogs. i tried resetting the ecu by just doing what you originally did, and it doesn't work.

i had the same problem check this way. Pull your o2 plug and run around see if it still bogs. if it doesn't change the o2. -mike
