Default ceramic vs steel exhaust manifolds - which is lighter

just wondering if ceramic manifolds are any lighter than aftermarket steel manifolds? i am looking at this from a weight reduction point of view. tia

are you talking about exhaust headers?
ceramic coated headers are made out mild steel, marginal weight differences with the SS manifold

The density of mild steel isn't much different than stainless. Difference in wall thickness & flange thickness would be more important, so you can't just say SS vs. 'ceramic' regardless of brand. The ceramic coating is so thin it doesn't matter much.
