I used the search button and found nothing specific on my questions. please help me out.

I have a 96 Honda Civic and I am trying to change out the radiator support. I got it all stripped down but I do not know how to crack the welds. It is welded it looks like on two spots at the top and all around the bottom plates.

For the bottom plates im guessing a dremel with a barite wheel to cut it and grind it down?

I dont know?

Has anybody got it done by a shop before? what is the price for something like this?

I have a friend that can weld the new one in place but no one seems to know how to cut it off exactly.

Any info would help thanks?

 

You have to drill out all the spotwelds.

 

drill through all of the welds? what about the bottom plates? cut those like I thought or Drill?

And by drill
this is simply drilling a hole where the weld was and pulling the support off?

 

you have to drill out the spot welds, with a drill and the right size bit. That or buy a spot weld drillbit.
