Default prothane vs. energy suspension shifter bushings?

just installed prothane shifter bushings, didn't really feel much of a difference. are the ES shifter bushings better? just want to get some feedback before i change to the ES bushings, don't want to waste my money if they're more or less the same

I have the ES shifter bushings and to tell the truth, I don't feel anything different then the stock ones.

hmm, do ITR have stiffer shifter bushings. I have some ES bushings in my civic and it was a nice improvement over stock. I have heard that prothane is of better quality, but then again, what the hell do i know

as far as i can tell, civics and itr's use the same bushings ( they're both soft ). i think i was expecting too much from these shifter bushings.

ES > stock itr bushings

I replaced mine with ES, and even though I had very few miles on the stockers, the ES were noticably stiffer... not annyingly so, however...

Ive been using the ES bushings for about a year now, and replaced them with the stock ones. Definitely more direct shift feel, not as sloppy as the stock ones but i feel are a bit on the rough side. Great for high rpm shifts but can be a bit notchy around town at times, especially when cold.

I believe ES is one of the 2 companies that makes their bushings with graphite to reduce the squeaking. The black color bushings have graphite.
