04 civic k20a2 swap
i am saving money right now to do the rsx-s swap and i wanted to know besides aem intake greddy exhaust and hondata chip what other mods can help me get to 13's being reliable and without rasing compression n/a
I have a Type S motor with 40K on it if you are interested. It has been sitting around my garage since doing the Type R swap in my girl's RSX. Let me know if you are interested.

i am VERY interested in that motor i need more details and i have asked people about prices and want to see how much u sellin for 40k is alot of miles and what year is it
It is an 02', and I agree that is a lot of miles, but they are all highway. My girlfriend used to drive almost an hour to work every day. The car has never been driven hard, as she always babied it. I am taking reasonable offers, so either leave a post or feel free to e-mail me at hpi911t@yahoo.com

my friend sold his for 1340$ 4000 miles i have 760 is that reasonable most of the k20a2 motors that people i know have swapped them http://www.7thgencivic got there motors for like 3000 but they were below 10,000 miles so is 760 reasonable post back please cause theres a good chance i can get the motor if it isnt too high i am on a tight bugdet give me ur price and we can work it out and even though it was babied 40,000 is still alot how does ur k20a run on our shitty gas in united states and do u live in cali? i will be waiting for ur reply. btw the motor on top was 34000 miles on it from a friend in stockton that got his car wrecked. last question is it exactly 40,000 miles or a little more
Don't let people talk you down about wasting your 04 motor. They're just jealous because you're going with the RSX-S. If you want to do a swap, do a swap. Your 04 will find it's home in some crazy guy (like me) with a ghetto CRX and he will be turning heads for years.
As far as your goals for getting your car into the 13's without doing any real internal work (changing the c/r) is going to be a bitch unless of course you're going with forced induction.
Intake, Exhaust, and a nice race header all together will still not make up the 2 seconds you need to shave. Neither will slicks or perfect tuning through Hondata.
If you want 13s, five or so bolt ons aren't going to do it, even if they are from the best of the name brands. Sorry if I seem pessimistic, I just dont want to see you disappointed when you throw all the money at the car and then don't run as fast as you'd like.

I have to say for the record I have rode in an EP3 with a JDM K20AR swap....CAI, Comptech race header, Skunk2 exhaust, Hondata-R reflash...It pulls like crazy, and with that JDM tranny of course and Hondata seems to stay in vtec all the time. Its first time at the track on slicks with a Clutchmasters stage-3 and Clutchmasters flywheel was good for a (full interior) 13.07 I think at like 106 mph or something. If I ever need to get rid of my RSX-S. I am getting an EP3...I like the body style better...IMHO...
