Default PISTON? brand?

hi everyone.. I need a piston with 13:1 compression what brand and size should i buy.. car is daily driven.


here's my current setup.

b16B block with a LS CRANK
EAGLE rods (b20)
4.4 gear w/LSD tranny
CROWER CAMS 63402-2--> thinking to buy any suggestion?im on skunk2 stg1 now

<-- Who prefers to use OEM honda pistons... With aftermarket pistons you will have piston slap.

Use CTR pistons or equivalent (depending on what you're building) and mill the head.

can i run these with 93 octane? im thinking of piston size from 82-85mm? will you suggest my cams 63402-2 on a portflow head?

whats the best?

ive seen a lot of street setups with 13-13.5 CR on 93 octane. tuning is the key, same as with high hp turbo outputs, without tuning you're fucked.

can't you get custom pistons from JE or wiseco or srp? just call them up and ask how much... personally i'd just go with ctr's, deck the block and mill the head, with a 2 layer HG and you should be up there (just make sure you clay the motor and have enough room..) good luck
