Huge oil leak coming from the head, NEED HELP!!!
Whats up guys, I recently put together a b20vtec. Well the oil feed line connected to the head has a leak. I basically was screwing in the new piece and never felt it get too tight and then I heard a pop...now I have a small crack where it screws into the head. I may have put too much teflon tape on it or too much muscle...either way got a problem now...huge oil leak. I want to know how to repair this and stop the leak. I have thought of JB weld or having a welder fix it. Let me know some of your ideas. Thanks
welding it might be an option, or maybe you could drill it out and use a different tap and fitting. depending on how big the crack is. not sure what would be the best combination or if it would work at all but you might want to look into that. good luck
yea i think JB weld would be a cheap short term fix...but tig welding would fix it for good. Just checking to see if there were any other option...Thanks guys
