I believe I may have a problem with my transmission. However my car wont turn over. Will a bad transmission or problem with the transmission prevent the car from starting. Or will the car still start but not be drivable?

 

If the car is locked OUT of gear it won't be a big deal (as long as its' a manual and your clutch switch isn't hosed.) Since you said that it wont turn over you need to elaborate. If the clutch switch is bad, it won't do anyting at all, not even try to crank. If the tranny is stuck in a gear, it will jump once you get it started. If it does not show either of those symptoms then your problem is not transmission related.

 

I figured it out and got it running. It a fuel system issue and it's throwing some oil. Now I just have to figure out it its the pump, or the injectors and why is it throwing oil.
