I am planning to get new bolts for my Mini Me set up of a d16y8 Head onto a d15b7 block.....oil is leaking through in between the head and block... so im burning the oil and leaking it ... double the trouble... Im thinking that the problem are the bolts because i used the old d15b7 bolts and since the d16y8 head has different bolt spex esp the one on the topleft corner (when your looking at the head from the top) before i order them which is better to get... go to honda dealers and order OEM head bolts for the y8 head or buy the head studs and go through the extra trouble of putting them in?

 

if you got the money and are planning to go boost or high comp, Id do it to get it out of the way. But if this is a mild street setup with bolt ons I wouldnt worry about it and get the honda bolts.
