No spark from ignition wires..... what could be wrong?
as the topic stated, there isn't any spark from the ignition wires. I have taken the whole distributor to test on another prelude si and it work. external ignition coil does work. where am I not getting spark from? timing is correct, car just doesn't crank alive. Please help.......

It could also be your ICM (Ignition Control Module) or "Ignitor."
Located in the distributor... This is what jumps the voltage up to be powerful enough for the spark to jump the gap.
Failure of this item will also cause the tach not to work properly (if the car was actually running)l
