My friend calls me today to tell me they stole her Type R once again. She has owned 4 and all of them have been stolen. I think she should just give up on owning ITR. They stole it from her driveway this time.

Those thieves are making a living off of her

 

I think its someone she knows or one of her friends.....

or learn from the experience and make it harder for the thieves. (layered security) obviously shes making it easy for them...

you can only do so much but come on 4 itr's stolen and she hasnt learned what to do yet...

hopefully she will get out, so it leaves one more itr for someone that will think ahead and make the necessary layered precautions...

just my opinion.

this is hard to believe... I would of learned my lesson after the 2nd one...and would of bought a s2k

 

i know how it feels to lose a R but 4 stolen.no offense but after the second, she shoulda bought something else

4 stolen type r's. and your friend, whether its a guy, or a girl, still does not have the capacity to put together that perhaps this is not a car that fits well in his/her lifestyle?

much like if I lived in the slummiest parts of any community, perhaps parking a car on the driveway is not such a hot idea.

 

what I would like to know... is after the third ITR... what are her insurance rates.... 10 G's a year?

I find this hard to believe.. If so, sorry for her loss.
