Default Timming Belt Question

I just got a 2000 civic ex and it has 63000 miles on it how critical is it to change the timming belt with this amount of miles?????

Not yet......more like 95-100k then I'd start to worry.

Indeed, change out the timing belt and tensioner between 90k-100k. Good insurance.

BTW, change with Honda OEM timing belt and tensioner.

also do waterpump at 100k saves you the hassle of doing it anytime soon

100k change the water pump, oil seal, cam seal

We do them at 90k at work (honda dealership). Timing belt and water are the norm. I like to do the cam and crank seals too.
