thinking of selling lude, whats a good asking price??
Hey,
I'm planning on selling my lude by the end of this month and I was wondering what a good asking price would be?
97 Prelude Type SH
BMW M3 Blue
Momo steering wheel/shifter
panasonic cd player
Skunk2 cam gears.
100 500 kms, 60 300 miles
timing belt, water pump, auto tensioner and belts all replaced 1 month ago. I have receipt. and new clutch 3 months ago.

No, I'm keeping the steering wheel in.
I will be selling these parts in a few weeks if anyone is interested.
Pure Racing short shifter
Greddy EVO exhaust
blue AEM CAI
Gen 2 Altezza Tails
Field SFC-VTEC Controller

Sell your aftermarket parts separately - they add no value to the car. You can ask what ever you want, but in spring of '99 I paid $16,750 US for a '97 base 5-spd w/ 36K miles. I wouldn't go a dime over $15K US if I were trying to buy a '97 today, no matter how few miles. JMO tho...

I would sell it for Blue Book Value without the performance parts, and sell them seperately. Probably get the most money this way. http://www.kellybluebook.com
Damn you're right, my suggestion was high...i mean i was aiming to give you the highest amount u could ask, but I ended up being off.
Funny because my 95 Prelude VTEC was stickered for over $17 US just in July of '00. So like a year and a half ago.
The most you could probably get is $15k now that I've checked prices. Might as well ask that and see if anyone will bite.

It depends on how bad oyu want to sell it. I wouldn't pay 15k for it, but someone might. Just start high and go lower as you get more desperate. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will want it enough to pay more.
