Default No VTEC

The only recent mod was a JDM 4-1 header, test-pipe and chipped P28. My VTEC was working fine until today when I noticed that it wasn't kicking in. Anybody know what the problem could be?

If it happened right after you did the reprogrammed ECU then I'd go back to stock and see if there's a difference.

If it just happened recently and there was time between the ECU upgrade, then I'd first check the oil level.

If neither of those work, then I'd Search around the archives here and see what else could be amiss like a faulty Vtec solenoid.

My car won't even start up with my stock ECU.

VTEC was working perfectly fine after the installation and dyno. It's been about 2 weeks and all of a sudden it's not working anymore.

It won't even start up with the stock ECU?

Sounds like you have some other issues besides just loss of Vtec.

Best of luck

Yeah, sounds like it. Going back to the tuner tonight. Any guesses on what the hell could be wrong?
