Ecu reset?
Hi,
I had to disconnect the battery on my 94' Accord LX A/T, i was told the ecu needs to be reset. Is it true? I was told the procedure is : let the engine wam up (fans come on) , disconnect the battery, wait a minute, reconnect the battery, start the engine, let it idle a couple of minutes, good to go. Is this the way is done? Is there a procedure for the Transmission? my car is stock
Also, Does the A/T learn my driving style and make changes? the shift driving patterns seems to be different that they used to be now
Thanks

Do your regular oil maintennaces, im not sure if it works for auto's but alot of people have good reviews on GM's Syncromesh.
and to reset your ecu, just yank the negative cable off, wait a good few mins (my bathroom, get a drink break) come back reconnect, you should be good to go... manuals tell ya to yank the (radio back up) fuse wait like 10 mins or so, and plug it back in.
