Need brake help please - Wilwood brakes
I am in the process of putting on a Wilwood brake kit (used) on my 99 Si. I got the brakes installed, and I began to bleed them. I initially tried bleeding all 4 pistons, when later i found out on the wilwood website that you only do the top 2. Anyway, when bleeding, i fudged up the bleeder screws (loosening the pipe thread instead of the small center pipe on it). I replaced that one, bleed the brakes, bolted everything on, and went for a drive.
The brakes were very weak. Pressure in the pedal was there, but brakes were weak. I heard the left dragging. The caliper appeared to be misaligned, when the brakes were applied, the caliper moved. The right side appears ok.
I went ahead and replaced all the stripped bleeder screws, and am about to rebolt this caliper back on and line it all up. My question is that when I took it off, i hit the brakes (took out pads) and only 2 pistons, one top and one bottom, came out, the others were not coming out as much. Is this a bleeder screw problem?
Also, whats the best way to bleed these brakes? I did bleed the rears as well, until fluid was coming out in a consistant stream.
Any help appreciated.
