Default jdm -98 itr vs. jdm 99 itr

I know that 96-98 itr swap into my 96 ek would be qouite easy.
I have two options for my swap... the other is an 97 itr swap and the orher is an 99 itr. I know that 98+ itr´s have 4.7 final and 4-1 header so I would like to choose that but I have read that I should choose a 96-98 transplant for 96 ek.
So does anyone have info on this?
Please ansver if you have info goes I´m ordering my swap end of next week!

Is it beacuse most 99 hondas are obd2b and 96 civic is obd2a people say that 96-96 hondas should have 96-98 engine swaps?
It says in this site http://www.jdmcivic.com/jtuned/0303/nab16a.php
that "1996-1998, you will want to get a 1997-1998 USDM or 1997-1999 JDM P73 ECU". So 99 jdm integra would still be obd2a? right?
So if it´s obd2a there should be nothing different compared to 97-98 swap?
Please could someone confirm this to me so I can order my swap!

Yeah, it would be a little easier, but only regarding staying obd2a...But if you ended up buying the obd2b you would only have to buy a jumper harness from a place like jhpusa.com and that would be it. It really doesn't matter at all, you basically just want to stay obd2 period. IMO the 4.785 final drive and the 4-1 factory header that would come with that '99 swap would outweigh buying a little ole' wiring harness

But as far as putting the actual swap in (mounts, etc, etc.) there is absolutely no difference in any of the ITR swaps from '96-'01.

Thanks for the info but I have already desided to go with the 97 one beacause it´s
cheaper and I´m going to buy an aftermarket header to replace the stock header anyway so it´s not that big of an deal that I lose the 4.7 final!
I´m also getting a 5lug conversion to get my brakes on the same line with the swap! does anyone got good info on the 5lug swap for an ek?
