I don't know, do you want shorter gearing? I'd suppose so with the ITR stuff. I'd call up someone who makes the LSD's or somethin and see what they say.

i know the small shaft s1, j1 stuff is NOT interchangeable with the bigger 92+ hydro tranny stuff, but i know for a fact that you can take a 92-93 LS cable tranny and put all the hydro stuff in there and vice versa, BUT only the 92-93 CABLE trannies are interchangeable with the 92+ hydro B series stuff

I've heard that only the YS1 cable tranny is interchangeable.

5th gear and counter gear.

I think your talking about taking a 90-91 LS tranny and putting the 5th from it into your y1 (jdm). In that case it will work. You just need whats stated above.

92-93 cables YS1's (GSR-LS) you can swap 92+ hydraulic internals into them. 88-91 B series should be interchangable between themselves as well.

That should be the ring gear and countershaft for the final drive.

I have a lil exp. w/ cable tranny problems when trying to swap out synchros. I bought 90-91 synchros 1-2 3-4 complete in an effort to have joey @ Spark racing swap them into my 88-91 tranny. It didn't work. Then I tried 92-93 synchros just for $hits and giggles....still didn't work. Long story short. The only worthwhile thing that is interchangeable between 90-93 usdm trannys and 88-91 jdm trannys is the LS 5th gear. This is merely fro my personal exp. If urs is different...please post.
