4.7 final drive re-tune?

Default 4.7 final drive re-tune?

I got my car tuned with my stock 4.4f gsr tranny, but i just got my 4.78F in and im going to get it installed asap, i was wondering if i should get my car re-tuned?

the gearing won't affect how your engine is running

final drive by definition shortens all the gears

you dont need to re calibrate your car in a FWD vehilce when you change the FD, only in rear wheel. as far as tuning the engine, dont need to do that either.

no that has nothing to do with fuel, ignition or intake of air.
