Default SPARCO Evo Installed....Head hitting roof

Just wondering if any of you guys have the sparco side mount seats installed in your CRX/Civic. What modifications did you have to do to lower the seat?

Side mounts and sliders? You might just want to redril your seat bracket and mount the seat without sliders. That should drop it down a few inches.

no 5'8" but with a helmet on....there is no way that that's safe. My roll bar doesn't even touch the roof. so my head is going to act like a support point.....not good. it's just way too high....i just need to drill into the tub and make custom mounts. and the evo is too wide to fit onto the stock sliders. hrmmmm i need to learn how to weld.

When I installed my EVOII in the rally car, I mounted it straight to a 1/4 inch plate of 6065 that I then mounted to the floor cross brackets. I do have the seat adjusted all the way down on the brackets and do not have sliders..
I am 6'1 and do not have any problems with it.
