I was just wondering how much an RSX type-S would be out the door. I would't be too interested in factory body kit, spoiler, etc. Just the car, minimal options and so on. Also, what kind of financing does Acura offer on these? I know that now a days, many car dealerships are offering very low, if not 0% APR on new cars and was wondering if Acura was doing something similar. Thanks.

 

my total was 25,500 i belive that was with spoiler, tint, mud guards, wheels locks, pin strip, ... i didnt want all that stuff on there but they told me they would not charge me for it snice it was on there already..execpt the spoiler.. acura is not doing 0% fin. charges, but if you have good credit, fin. charges will not be that bad

 

Sticker for a Type S is 23650. That is exactly what I paid for mine plus tax title and lisence. Not many dealer will budge on that price from my experience, and you'll be extremely lucky if you find one without all the dealer upgrades. Good luck though, its an awesome car.

A lot of dealers charge up the you know what for accessories that you don't need or can buy it later much cheaper (even original equipment). My dealership added a couple of options for free but charged 25% more for spoiler. Be careful when trading in your Integra, if you have one. You are better off selling it privately! Good luck!

I drove one today that had leather seats, mud guards, and a pin stripe. The salesman told me it was $22750. Then he said, "But you don't want this. You already have a Type R." How true that was. :D

 

I was flirting with the idea of buying a RSX before I bought my ITR. The price was in the vicinity of 25k. They were really firm on the price, because it was a new car.

 

They wont budge since its a new model, and since the profit margin is minimal, dealers will install all kinds of options to it just to justify the outrageous price. If you want to get real ballsy, say something along the lines of, look, Im in the business, you're a professional, Im a professional, I dont want to waste your time. Show me your invoice, I'll pay $500 over to let you have some profit. My credit score is blah blah and I have X amount to put down and I want my payments around X amount. If you can meet my expectations right now I will drive this home tonight.

 

that wasn't a type s for 22750 w/ mud guards and pinstripe. I got mine down to 22500 base w/ nothing only cuz the dealer was my dad's friend. otherwise, they're not budging w/ the price.

FOR MY RSX TYPE S IT WAS LIKE 23456 STICKER PRICE, AND OUT THE DOOR AFTER ALL THE T,T,L AND ALL THAT, IT CAME TO LIKE 25,000. ITS A SWEET CAR. MY BROTHER BOUGHT A 2001 TYPE-R FROM THEM LIKE 5 MONTHS B4 SO THEY TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY.LOL. THEY GAVE US SOME GOOD SIDE THING FOR FREE. THEY GAVE ME FREE WINDOW TINT, FREE FACTORY ALARM, 5 FREE OIL CHANGES. 2 TRANNY FLUSHES. AND WHEN EVER I GO OVER THEY WASH MY CAR FOR FREE..LOL. THEY ALSO GAVE MY BRO THE SAME THING AS ME WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR. BUT AS FOR THE PRICE GOIN DOWN, THAT PROBABLY WONT HAPPEN, CUZ AT SOME DEALERSHIPS U HAVE TO RESERVE THEM. BUT IF U LIVE IN ARIZONA, GO TO BELL ACURA. THEY ARE GOOD.
