Removed heatercore, how to block off coolant line ??
hey guys, i'm on to the interior aspects of my drag car, and i've removed the dash/heater core, wondering whats the most effective way to block off the passage on coolant pipe to the heater core. Its a d16y7. I was thinking a loop of some kind.. maybe weld it shut, i dunno.. what do some of you guys do.
also.. is thier a company that makes aftermarket dashes that connect to the steering colume, and have all the brackets, not one that just skins over the very heavy frame.

You have a heater hose going from your block to the heater core inlet at the firewall. Then there is another going from the heater core outlet on the firewall back to the block. So remove both hoses at the block and replace them with one longer hose to loop it or keep the existing hoses in put a coupler in between the two to connect them.
I know this is simple looping that probably didn't need explanation but I just wanted to make sure you weren't looping them in the cabin
